How do I log in to Twyxt?
Start the app and tap on “Login”. Please enter your email address and your password. You can also use Facebook to login. If so, please tap on “Login with Facebook” on the login screen.
Can I log in with my Facebook account?
Yes! Please tap on Login and afterwards on Login with Facebook. You will get to the Facebook app to confirm that Twyxt may use your Facebook credentials to login. Don’t worry! We won’t post anything to your Facebook timeline!
Can I share my content on Facebook?
Twyxt is an intimate space for two – there is no way to post the Twyxt content to Facebook directly from the app. Enjoy your private space with your partner without any spectators.
Do you post anything to my Facebook timeline?
No.
Which information do you use from my Facebook account?
We use only your login data and your name from Facebook if you choose to login / sign up with Facebook.
What do I do if I forgot my password?
Please start the app – you will get to the landing screen of Twyxt. Please tap on “Wait, what's my password?” and enter your email address that you’re using for Twyxt. We will send you a new password.
I can’t login with my e-mail or Facebook account. How can I login?
Have you already created an account? If so, tap on Login on the Twyxt landing page. If you created your account by email enter the same email address and your password. Make sure to enter your password correctly. To reset your password, tap on “Wait, what's my password?” on the landing page. If you created your account with Facebook please choose Login with Facebook on the login screen.
What does the special code mean?
After verifying your email address we have to connect you and your Twyxtr. We do this by using a six digit code. The first person sends this code via email, sms or just shows it to their Twyxtr, who enters the code after tapping on “I’ve been invited” and going to the create account process him/her-self. That’s it – you’re connected and you can start using Twyxt!
Beware, the code only lasts for 24 hours :).
I received a special code but it is no longer valid. What should I do now?
When in the app, tap anywhere in the messenger as if you wanted to write a message. A window saying "Still flying solo?" will pop up. Simply tap "Yes" and you will be able to re-invite your partner!
Can I install Twyxt if I have an Android?
We are working on the Android version. It's coming soon!
Can you provide me with a signification other?
Sadly no, we don’t provide that service. Don't worry, one day your Twyxtr will come :).
How do I change my avatar?
Tap on your default Avatar in the chat. Alternatively, you can do so by tapping the menu button on the left hand corner and selecting "Profile".
Can we set an avatar for "us"?
Not at the moment, but stay tuned!
Why does the Twyxt logo at the top of the app shine sometimes?
The logo activates when you and your Twyxtr are using the app at the same time.
What does the menu bar (on the top left corner) do?
That menu bar opens the menu, from where you can access the messenger, calendar, list and photos. You can also access these four tabs from within the app itself, at the bottom of the screen.
You profile picture and basic data can be set under the Profile menu item. You can recommend Twyxt if you enjoy the experience through the Recommend menu item, or give us feedback by simply clicking on the Feedback menu item. Finally, you can sign out if you need to.
How can I give you feedback on Twyxt?
Open the menu (via the top left hand corner of the screen), and tap "Feedback". You can write an email to us! Simple and highly appreciated.
How does the messenger work?
Initially, the messenger is empty. Simply tap the empty white chat bar to write something to your Twyxtr, then press the check mark on the right side of the chat bar to send.
Do you have smileys/emoticons?
Yes, just tap the small smiley icon left of the check mark in the chat bar. Be sure to check them out, swipe to see the 3 pages of them!
How do I share pictures?
Click on the photo camera icon on the left side of the chat bar. You will be able to share pictures from your camera roll or to take one on the spot. You can add a caption above the pic before sending it, just the same way as you would write a normal message. Then just tap on the check box to send it all!
What is the plus sign for?
The plus sign in the messenger allows you to access all of Twyxt's fun features : The Moods, the Urgent message function and the Freeze. The plus sign in the calendar tab is for creating new events.
Can I delete messages?
Not at this time. It's all part of your history :). Don't worry, the app is optimized to load only the last messages when you open it, so it does not slow down. It will only load earlier messages if you look at them.
What are the "moods"?
The Moods allow you to set your current mood and share it with your partner. Tap the plus, Tap the Smiley Icon and pick one!
Will there be more moods to share with my Twyxtr?
Twyxt is always on the move - you never know when they will appear.

How does urgent messaging work?
Send an urgent message by tapping on the urgent message icon in the plus section. Enter your urgent message. Your message will be sent to your partners' Twyxt app and his/her email automatically. You also have the ability to add more email addresses to make sure that he/she will get your message as quick as possible.
If I am busy and I can’t answer can I block the urgent message?
You will be given the choice between "not now" and "got it". Pressing "not now" will not send a read receipt to your Twyxtr, and pressing "got it" will. If you press "not now", you will have to tell your Twyxtr later on you read the message.
Note that if you are not in the app at the moment you receive your urgent message, and the sound of your phone is turned off, you will not be disturbed by it. You will just receive an e-mail with the message in your inbox.
How does freeze work?
Tap on the plus in the left corner and then on the blue snowflake icon to send a freeze. Your partners' app will be "frozen" until he taps the screen to break the ice. Just try it out! But note that both of you have to be online at the same time for the freeze to work.
How can I unfreeze my screen?
Tap the screen 4 times to break the ice. On the fourth time the ice will be gone. Your partner will be notified you broke the ice. Now it is up to you!
How do I navigate through the calendar?
You can choose between Month, day or list view. The month view will show you an overview of your past shared pictures and events, as well as all your planned events. Try to share pictures regularly with your Twyxtr and see what happens!
What are the photos in the calendar about?
We are archiving your past activities and we start with your photos. You will see a small photo in the calendar that you posted on this day. Later you will have the possibility to see all conversations and photos from every specific date in the calendar. So it will be easy for you to find conversations from 2 weeks ago.
Can I allocate a picture to a certain date in the calendar?
At the moment, this is not possible. Stay tuned.
Can I chose the picture of the day to show in the calendar?
Not at the moment, but later on you will be able to. Stay tuned!
How do I create an event in the calendar?
In the calendar, tap the plus sign on the top right corner of the screen. Choose for who the event is for: You, Him/Her or both of you. Once you're done filling in the details, press the check mark on the top right side of the screen. The event will appear automatically in both of your calendars, regardless for who the event is.
Just press the arrow on the top left hand side of the screen.
How do I edit an event in the calendar?
Tap on the day you want to edit the event of. In the event view, the "edit event" option will appear below the event details.
How do I delete an event in the calendar?
Tap on the day you want to edit the event of. In the event view, the "delete event" option will appear below the event details.
I mistakenly deleted an event of our calendar. Can I get it back?
Sadly at the moment, deleting is permanent. You will have to recreate it.
Can I have more than one event per day?
Yes, you can have as many as you would like to!
What is the code color in the calendar?
The color changes in function of who the event is assigned to :
➢ Grey : Your Twyxtr
➢ Black : You only
➢ Red : Both of you

Yes! A badge with the number of new events will appear on your calendar. If you are not in the app, your phone will send you a notification.
Can I sync my ical/google calendar to the Twyxt calendar?
It is not possible yet to synchronize the Twyxt calendar with an external one, but we’re working on this. Please stay tuned for new updates.
What is the list tab for?
Twyxt provides you with shared lists. These lists are shared between you and your Twyxtr. They are synchronized between your two phones, and only your two phones. If one of you add or edit a list, these changes will be reflected on your Twyxtr's phone.
How do the lists work?
Twyxt's lists are two level lists : The list and the tasks.
For instance, you can make a grocery list and constantly indicate what is missing in your fridge. Or a wish list for if your Twyxtr happens to lack ideas the day before Valentine...
How do I create a new list?
Tap the plus sign on the right corner of your screen, or alternatively tap "Add a shared list". Then, pick a name for your list.
How do I edit a to-do lists' name?
First, tap the name of the list to get into the list itself. Then, retap the name of the list on the top of the screen. You will be able to edit it.
How do I add items to my list?
First, tap the name of the list to get into the list itself. Then tap "add an item" and choose one. You can add as many items as you want!
How do I edit an item's name on a list?
Swipe the item you want to edit. You will be able to choose between deleting or editing it.
How do I indicate an item as complete?
In the task view of a list, just tap the box in front of an item. You can also indicate whole list as complete in the list view.

In the list view, swipe on a list name to indicate it at complete at once. The lists that are completed (at once or not) will be archived under the active lists.
I mistakenly checked an item as done, what should I do?
Just uncheck the box in front of the item. If it was the last item on your list, see the next question.

You can always change your mind and undo this action. For this, go into a completed list and uncheck the box in front of an item. The list will become active again. You need to uncheck all the items you want to be considered undone.
Adding a new item to a done list will also replace it in the active lists.

What is the photo tab for?
The photo tab is the collection of all the pictures you and your Twyxtr have shared in the chat. It also includes your avatars. For now, you can also see the latest picture sent each day on your monthly calendar view. You will be able to chose this later on!
Can I delete pictures?
Not at this time. It's all part of your history :).
Do you automatically save the pictures we sent over Twyxt in my camera roll? No! These pictures are private and it is totally up to you to save them on your phone if you would wish so.
Can I export my photos to a computer or mobile device (mobile phone, tablet, etc.)?
You can save your photos to your camera roll. Please tap on the photo to see it maximized. After that tap on this screen and hold on until you get an overlay to save the photo to your camera roll.
Split / erase the account:
If me and my Twyxtr split, how can I delete his/her profile from my account?
There is no ability to split from your Twyxtr within the app yet. We will add this function very soon. For now please just send an email to listen@Twyxt.us. Thanks!
What happens if me and my Twyxtr break up?
After split, you can choose to delete your account on keep the data on it. In order to delete an account, we need the consent of both of you. Contact us at listen@Twyxt.us.
If I chose to keep the data after I break up, does that mean I cannot use my e-mail address to create a second Twyxt account, with my next Twyxtr?

How do you store our data?
First we encrypt all your personal data using industry standard encryption algorithm and than store it in a secure Amazon cloud service. Your privacy is our number one concern.
Can I be sure my information is secure?
Yes, we can assure you that your personal information is safe and secure. Refer the above answer for details.
Is every Twyxtr able to see my profile and add me as a contact?
No! Only you and your partner can see your profile and your activity in Twyxt! You can add your partner only with our secret code by showing this code or sending it via email or sms. After that you also have to confirm that this is the right person. We make sure that your space is private and secure!
Will Twyxt become a paying app?
If we would decide on anything about monetization, we will always make sure that we add value to you in doing so.
